We are over at D-88 in Okhla Phase I. It’s a big industrial area, and our place is just one of many in the row. We deal with lifts and elevators, so there is usually a lot of metal and heavy parts lying around the workshop. It can get quite greasy and dusty, but that’s the nature of the work we do. We aren't sitting in a polished office with carpets or fancy furniture. We are usually on our feet, checking parts or fixing something that needs attention. The Okhla heat can be tough in the summer, especially with all the machinery around, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been here for a while and know the area well. Most of the time, we’re out on calls, but this is where we keep all our tools and supplies. It’s a practical setup for people who like to work with their hands. We don't have a team of people to answer phones with scripts. If you call or stop by, you’re just talking to one of us who knows how the machines work. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. If a lift needs fixing, we look at the parts and do the work. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living in the city.
