You can find us on the first floor over at Mithan Lal motor market. We are in shop 1255/27 in the Bara Bazar area of Kashmere Gate. Being upstairs means we don’t get as much foot traffic as the ground floor shops, but people who need us usually find their way up the stairs. The market is always packed with people looking for bits and pieces for their cars. Down in Bara Bazar, it is total chaos most of the time, especially in the afternoons. Our space is a bit cramped with all the machinery and metal parts lying around, but we know where everything is. We do engineering work here, mostly stuff that people bring in from other shops. It’s a lot of manual work and the machines make a fair bit of noise. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is when we actually take a break. Otherwise, we are just heads down working. It isn't a quiet life, but it’s what we do. The building is old and the walls could probably use some paint, but that’s not really a priority for us right now. We just want to make sure the parts we work on are right before they go back down the stairs. It is just a handful of us here and we’ve known each other for years.
