If you’ve ever been to Hauz Qazi, you know how tight the streets are and how much is going on at once. Hindustan Trading Corporation is right there on the main road at D-F. It’s an old part of town, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a long time. The building itself has that old feel, with high ceilings and walls that have seen plenty of seasons. We deal in all sorts of hardware and trading items. Every day is a bit of a struggle with the traffic outside, getting goods in and out of the shop is always an adventure. You have to time the deliveries just right or you’ll be stuck for hours. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the boxes and stock we keep. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time. We spend most of our time talking to regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know we aren't going to give them a fancy sales pitch. We just tell them what we have and what the price is. There’s no mission statement hanging on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a picture or two. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We just want to get through the day, make sure the orders are right, and close up the shop when the street starts to quiet down.
