Surgident (India)

Our shop, Surgident (India), is located at A-73 in the Industrial Area along the Old G. T. Karnal Road. Being in North Delhi means there is always a lot of noise and dust from the traffic, but that is just part of the daily life here. We spend most of our time inside the unit dealing with dental and surgical supplies. The space is filled with boxes and inventory because things are always coming in or going out to different clinics. It is not a very quiet place, especially when the neighboring units are running their machines. We usually open up pretty early to get a head start before the heat becomes too much. The staff mostly brings lunch from home, and we sit together in the back area when we get a chance. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of with these kinds of medical items, so someone is always at the desk checking lists. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked easily if a big lorry is trying to turn, which happens more often than you would think. We have been in this part of Delhi for a long time, so we know the other business owners around the block. It is a very grounded way of working, just focusing on the stock and making sure the deliveries are packed up correctly for the next day.
