Sunder Iron Store

Bazar Sirkiwalan is a crowded place, and we have been here at Office No. 4965 for quite a while now. It is right near the Hauz Quazi Police Station, which makes it easy to explain to people who aren't from around here. We deal with iron, so the place is usually full of heavy stuff and a bit of dust. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning and nice rugs. We just have some old desks and plenty of ledgers. The market is always noisy with people shouting and carts moving. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but that is just how it is in this part of Delhi. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our customers are people who have been buying from us for years. They know where we are. Dealing with iron is hard work and our hands are rarely clean. We just try to get the orders right and move the stock. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork, but we always fix them. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. If you come by, you might have to wait a bit if we are busy with a delivery. It is just a regular shop run by regular people who know a thing or two about iron. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we stay right here. It’s a busy life but we’re used to it.
