Steelage Industries

Hauz Qazi is one of those places where you really have to watch where you're walking or you might bump into a handcart. We are located at 3286, Peepal Mahadev. That’s the landmark everyone uses around here. Steelage Industries has been sitting in this spot for a long time. The building is old, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans running at full speed. Being in a place like Peepal Mahadev means there is a lot of history in the bricks. We don’t have a big corporate office with fancy chairs. Instead, we have wooden stools and a lot of heavy items stacked up in the corners. The work here is physical and sometimes messy. We deal with whatever comes our way day by day. Some mornings the lane is so blocked with deliveries that we can barely get the front shutter up. You learn to be patient. It’s not a quiet job, and the neighborhood is never silent. We know the neighbors, and they know us. When people ask for Steelage Industries, they usually just get told to look for the big tree nearby. It’s simple. We stay until the sun goes down and then head home like everyone else. There isn't any secret to it, just showing up at the shop and doing what needs doing. It can be tiring but we're used to it now.
