Star Steels

We are located in the Wazirpur Industrial Area at A-78/5. If you know Wazirpur, you know it is all about steel and metal here. The air always smells a bit like iron. Our unit is not different from the others on this street. We have the machines running most of the time. Star Steels is what we call it, but mostly we are just known as the guys at plot 78. It gets noisy. You have to raise your voice to talk over the sounds of the metal being moved. We have a small office tucked in the corner where it is a little quieter. The floor is concrete and has some cracks from the heavy loads. We handle a lot of steel parts and pipes. It is heavy work. Some days are slow, and some days we are rushing to get everything onto the truck. The power goes out sometimes, and then everything gets very quiet. We sit outside and wait for it to come back. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops for tea and snacks. We know the other business owners around here. We have been doing this for years, so we don't think much about the noise anymore. It is just part of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just walk onto the shop floor and look around the stacks of steel.
