Star Metal

Star Metal is located at No. -22 in the Single Pur Extension of Shalimar Bagh. We are right across from the Ram Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. You can usually hear the bells from the temple in the mornings and evenings. Our place is more of a workshop than a fancy office. There’s usually a lot of noise from the metal being moved around or worked on. It’s a bit messy with scraps and tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. The air usually has a bit of a metallic tang to it. Shalimar Bagh is a busy neighborhood, and Single Pur Extension is no different. There are always people walking by or scooters zipping through the lanes. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. It’s a tough kind of work but we’ve been doing it a long time. The building is a bit old and the doors don't always shut right, but it serves its purpose. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. Sometimes it gets quite dusty, so we’re always cleaning off the surfaces. It’s a basic, honest place to work. We don’t worry much about appearances as long as the work is getting finished and the customers get what they need.
