S.S. Welding Works

We set up shop at Beeta 1 in C Block, specifically at Office Number 523. It’s a workshop where the smell of metal and heat is pretty much always in the air. We’ve been doing this for a while, and our hands show it. Most of the day involves cutting, joining, and fixing things that people bring in. It’s noisy work with the grinders and the sparks, so we don't do much talking while the machines are running. The space is filled with tools and scraps of iron that we might need later. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; people usually just walk right into the middle of whatever we are working on. It’s a bit messy with the dust and the leftover bits of wire, but that’s how a welding shop looks. We keep our equipment in good shape because that’s what we rely on to get through the orders. Sometimes we have to work on-site, but most of the time you’ll find us right here at the bench. We aren't big on paperwork, so we keep things simple with a notebook and a pen. It’s hard work on the back and the eyes, but it’s what we know how to do. We just take each job as it comes, whether it’s a small repair or something bigger that takes a few days.
