Sonalika Arora

I’ve been working out of Model Town for quite some time now. My place is in Phase 2, at E-2/10. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time, which is nice for getting work done. I don't have a big team or a fancy office. It’s just me, Sonalika Arora, and sometimes a helper or two depending on what’s going on. People come by to discuss whatever projects we have running. It could be anything from design work to just general consulting. I didn't want a big corporate space because this feels more personal. You walk through the gate and it just feels like a regular house. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Delhi for a long time, so I know the area well. The neighbors are used to people coming and going from my unit. It’s not always perfectly organized. Sometimes there are samples or papers everywhere, especially when I'm in the middle of something big. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just talk to people, understand what they need, and then I try to deliver it. It’s a very manual process. I spend a lot of time on my laptop or on the phone. It’s a small, local operation and I like it that way. No big meetings, no corporate lingo, just honest work. I just take things one day at a time and see what needs doing next.
