Phool Chand Satish Kumar

Our shop, Phool Chand Satish Kumar, is tucked away at 2838 Hauz Qazi, right near Peepal Mahadev. It’s a very old part of the city and our building feels every bit of that age. We’ve got stacks of products everywhere you look. It’s a family-run thing, and we’ve been doing this for a long time now. The street outside is always narrow and packed with rickshaws and people carrying heavy loads. Inside, it’s a bit quieter but always busy. We don't really use computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still on paper pads. We like it that way because it’s faster when you’re in a hurry. You’ll usually find one of us sitting near the entrance checking the ledgers. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished sales pitch. We just tell you what we have and what it costs. Sometimes we run out of space and have to move things to the narrow hallway just to get a shipment inside. It gets dusty, and the lights flicker sometimes, but we don't mind. It’s home for us during the day. Most of our regulars have been coming here since they were young. We don't do much to attract new people, they just seem to find us when they need something specific from the market. We just keep doing what we do every day and hope for the best.
