We're tucked away in the State Bank of Patiala building over in Wazirpur Industrial Area, specifically at A-103, Gi. It’s a busy spot and can be hard to find if you aren't looking for the bank first. Our family has been running things here for a long time. The name on the door comes from my grandfather and his brother, so there’s a lot of history in these walls. We mostly deal with industrial parts and supplies. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and looking over the lists of what needs to go out that day. It gets pretty crowded in the office with all the paperwork and samples lying around. Wazirpur is always noisy and there’s always someone moving a truck or unloading something in the alleyway. We just try to keep up with everything. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the shelves, though they never stay neat for long. We aren't really into the whole modern corporate thing. We prefer talking to people face to face or over the phone when they need something specific. It’s just how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just life in the industrial area. We make sure the orders are right before they leave the door, and that's the main thing we worry about. It's a family thing, through and through.
