Soda Shop

The Soda Shop is tucked away at Shop No-153/1 in Nirankari Colony. We are right over in the GTB Nagar area, not too far from the Delhi University School. Because of where we are, we see a lot of students and young people all the time. They come in between classes or after they are done for the day. The shop itself is pretty small, so it gets crowded quickly. We spend most of the day mixing flavors and filling up glasses or bottles. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we like talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. The colony is always buzzing with some kind of activity, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky from the syrup, so we are always cleaning up. We don't have a big menu or anything, just the usual sodas that people like. It is a simple setup with a few stools and the soda machine running constantly. The noise of the carbonation is something you just get used to after a while. We don't really do any marketing; people just find us because they are walking by or their friends told them about us. It is just a neighborhood spot where you can get a cold drink. We keep it simple and just try to stay on top of the orders when the rush hits.
