Singhal Steel Rolling

We spend most of our time here at Singhal Steel Rolling over in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. It is always noisy around C 12/1 but that is just how things are in this part of Delhi. The machines have been running for a long time now. Some days are hotter than others especially when the sun hits the metal roofs but we just keep going. People come by asking about various steel products and we try to give them straight answers without making it complicated. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere but it works for us. My father used to say that the industrial area never sleeps and he was mostly right about that. We have seen the neighbors change over the years though the dusty roads stay about the same. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you don't know the turns. We don't spend money on big signs or anything because the people who need us usually know where we are tucked away. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when the noise dies down a little bit. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on at home. Nothing more to it really. If you find yourself near Wazirpur you will probably hear the rollers before you see the gate. We are just a group of people doing what we know how to do with the materials we have. It’s not a corporate setup just a place where things get made day after day.
