Chawri Bazar is a crazy place. If you've been here, you know the main road is always packed with rickshaws and people carrying heavy stuff on their backs. We've been at 3693 for a while now, dealing with all sorts of metals. It gets loud and dusty during the day, but that’s just how things are here in the market. Most of our time is spent talking to regular buyers who come in looking for specific materials. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep our stock and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy takes forever to show up, which is probably the biggest drama we face. The building is old, and we know the neighbors well. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. There isn't much room to breathe when a big shipment comes in, so we just stack things as best as we can. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather gets hot in Delhi. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part in the metal trade here. Most people find us because they know the area or someone told them about us. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but the way we do business hasn't shifted much. Just a lot of talking, weighing metal, and hoping the traffic isn't too bad on the way out.
