We are located over at 199, Block-B in the New Subzi Mandi area of Azadpur. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find if you know the market, right near the main flow of traffic. Shyama Shyam Fruits Private Limited operates out of this space, which is basically a mix of an office and a place to keep track of all the fruit coming in. The whole area is usually packed with workers and carts moving back and forth, so getting to our door can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, especially in the rainy season when the ground gets muddy. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got a few old computers and some ledgers that seem to be everywhere. It’s a ground-level kind of operation where the focus is just on the daily grind of the fruit trade. You’ll hear the sounds of the mandi all day long—horns honking, people haggling, and the constant clatter of wooden crates. We start pretty early, often while most of the city is still asleep, because that’s when the best stuff arrives. It’s a messy, fast-paced environment and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look polished; we just focus on the boxes and the buyers. It’s just how things work here in Azadpur, and we wouldn't know what to do with a quiet office anyway.
