Shri Man Foods

Shri Man Foods is tucked away in the Samaypur Industrial Area. Specifically, we're on the first floor of Gali No. 1, Kh No. 40/7. It’s an industrial spot, so you can imagine it gets pretty loud with all the other factories around us. We focus on food processing, mostly stuff that people use in their daily cooking. When we first moved in here, the place was just a shell. We had to set everything up from scratch. It’s not a glamorous job. You’re on your feet most of the day, making sure the machines are clean and the ingredients being mixed are good. My brother helps me manage the staff, which is mostly just a handful of local guys from the neighborhood. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most people find out about us just by word of mouth or by seeing our delivery van driving around. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so moving sacks of flour or spices can be a bit of a workout every morning. We try to keep things organized, but in a food business, there’s always something to clean or a spill to take care of. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing the finished products stacked up and ready to go makes it feel worth it. We just want to keep doing what we're doing and support our families. It’s what we know and how we spend our lives.
