Shri Ganesh Metals

Our place is at 207 on the 2nd Floor of building 1311 in Shanker Market. It is located on Fasil Road near Ajmeri Gate. Being on the second floor means we do a lot of climbing up and down throughout the day. Shanker Market is a very old place with a lot of history and a lot of different shops. We handle different types of metals and alloys. The office is small and usually filled with samples and scraps. Because we are near Ajmeri Gate, the whole area is always buzzing with activity. You can hear the sounds of the market coming through the windows all day long. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not used to these old buildings. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep. We have been working out of this unit for quite a while now. We keep our ledger books on a shelf behind the main table. There is usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere. We don't have any corporate branding or a lobby. It is just a place where we conduct our business and talk to our suppliers. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the window, so we have to move the stock around. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the building. We just go about our work and try to keep things moving as best as we can in this crowded market.
