Our place, Shree Sudershan Wire Mesh, is tucked away in Gali No. 9 over in Marshal Bagh. If you’re familiar with Shalimar Village, you know it’s right near the main market which is always packed with people and rickshaws. We are at Plot No. 773/1. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re new to the area but once you’ve been here, you remember it. The space is filled with rolls of wire mesh stacked up high. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now and the neighbors all know us. Working in a village area like this means you see the same faces every day. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy rolls and cutting them down to the sizes people ask for. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it's just us handling the phone and the walk-ins. The main market nearby brings a lot of foot traffic but most of our work is for people who know exactly what mesh they need for their projects. Sometimes the power goes out or the narrow lanes get blocked by a delivery van, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward life here in Shalimar. We focus on the inventory we have and make sure the rolls are kept dry and ready for whoever needs them. We don't bother with fancy talk, we just focus on the wire and getting the measurements right for the customers.
