Shree Amba Saree House

We are located on the 1st Floor at No. 926-A in Maliwada. This is right in the heart of Chandni Chowk, inside Gali Pattalwali. If you’ve ever been to Nai Sarak, you know how packed those lanes can get. It’s a maze of shops and people everywhere you look. Being on the first floor means we are slightly away from the direct noise of the street, but you can still hear everything going on below. We deal with sarees here at Shree Amba Saree House. It’s a traditional business in a very traditional part of Delhi. Our space is filled from floor to ceiling with different sarees. It’s not a modern mall experience. You have to walk through the narrow lanes of Maliwada and find the right staircase to get to us. We’ve been here for years, and the building is quite old, like most things in Chandni Chowk. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or a big reception area. It’s just us and the sarees. We spend our days unfolding and folding fabric for the people who come in. Sometimes the heat in the summer is a bit much, but we have our fans going and we just keep at it. Gali Pattalwali is a famous little spot, and we are proud to be one of the many small businesses that make this area what it is. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best.
