Shiva S.S. Strip (P) Ltd.

If you head over to the Wazirpur Industrial Area, you’ll find us on the ground floor of Meera Tower at number 17. Shiva S.S. Strip (P) Ltd. is a busy place, especially since being on the ground floor means we’re always seeing the action right outside the door. The air around here usually smells like grease and metal, which is pretty standard for this part of town. Inside, the space is mostly taken up by rolls of stainless steel strips and the tools we need to move them around. It gets quite loud when the heavy trucks pull up to the loading area. We have a small office section sectioned off where we do the billing and take calls. The chairs are a bit squeaky and the desk is cluttered with old notebooks and pens that sometimes don't work. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our name and the work we do. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they’re running right. During the monsoon, the street outside sometimes gets a bit flooded, but we just put on our boots and keep going. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on getting the steel out the door. We aren’t really into making things look pretty; we just want the job done well before we head home.
