Sharma Lemon Cold Cafe

Sharma Lemon Cold Cafe is our little shop at Shastri Nagar M 179, right in the Maharana Pratap Nagar area. We mostly deal with cold drinks and lemon sodas because the weather here really demands it most of the time. We aren’t a big cafe with couches and fancy music. It’s more of a place where you stand and have a quick drink to cool down. We spend a lot of time squeezing lemons and keeping the ice blocks ready. The floor can get a little wet sometimes from the condensation, so we are always mopping it up. Being at M 179 means we get a lot of foot traffic from people walking through Shastri Nagar. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just put our sign out and wait for people to get thirsty. The afternoons are usually our busiest time when the sun is high. We try to keep the glasses clean and the sugar syrup just right. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but we like the rhythm of it. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few streets away. They know where we are and what we do. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a simple cafe serving cold stuff to anyone who needs it in this part of town.
