Seven Days Food

We've been at Jahangirpuri 15 for a while now. Most mornings start early before the sun gets too high because the kitchen heats up fast. It’s just how it goes here. People walk by on their way to work and sometimes they stop in for a quick bite or just to see what's ready. We don’t have a fancy menu or anything. It’s mostly just the same things we've been making since we opened. Sometimes the stove acts up or the delivery truck is late, but we manage. My brother helps out during the lunch rush because it gets crowded around then. We know most of the faces around this part of Jahangirpuri. It’s a busy spot. The floor needs a scrub often because of all the dust coming in from the street. We try to keep things simple. You might find us sitting outside on the plastic chairs when it’s quiet. There isn't much to say about us really. We just show up and do the work every day of the week. Seven Days Food wasn’t a name we thought too hard about, it just sounded right because we are always here anyway. If you're walking past block 15, you’ll see the sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun but it’s still there. We keep the water cold and the food hot, and that’s about all people ask for in this heat.
