Sdaikul Steel Works

Sdaikul Steel Works is tucked away in Ashok Vihar at E2/206. It’s a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a machine running. We have been working with steel for a long time. It is a dusty job and our hands are rarely clean, but that is just the nature of the work. The workshop isn't very big, so things are stacked up wherever we can find space. We deal with different kinds of steel projects, mostly whatever people in the area need. Some days it is just small repairs and other days we have bigger pieces to cut and join. The light inside isn't the best, so we often do the heavy work near the front door where the sun comes in. We don’t use any big marketing stuff. People usually find us because someone told them we do decent work. It can get pretty loud in here when everyone is working at once. We have a small tea break in the afternoon to get away from the noise for a bit. The floor is covered in metal shavings and we have to sweep them up every evening. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now. Ashok Vihar has changed a lot, but our little corner at E2/206 stays pretty much the same.
