Sarika Stainless Steel Industry

The workshop is over at 86 in the Dsidc Complex in Wazir Pur. It stays pretty busy in this industrial area. You can hear the sounds of metal being moved around and the hum of the machines starting first thing in the morning. Sarika Stainless Steel Industry isn't a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. The floors are concrete and there's usually a bit of dust from the production process, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with stainless steel. We’ve got our regular crew here, some of whom have been with us for years. We spend most of our time making sure the orders are packed right and the dimensions are what they should be. It gets hot in the summer, especially with all the machinery running, but we have some fans that help a bit. The Dsidc area is always crowded with trucks coming in and out, which makes loading sometimes a bit of a puzzle. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. It’s just us in the shed, making sure the metal looks right before it goes out. If you walk past our unit, you’ll probably see us checking the stock or talking to a driver about where a delivery is going. It's plain, honest work that keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. We like the smell of the shop and the feeling of finishing a big batch of items.
