Sanmati Metals is located at 3749/10 Hauz Qazi, on Charan Das Street near Om Market. If you’ve ever been to Hauz Qazi, you know it is the heart of the metal trade, and our street is no different. This area is a maze of shops and narrow lanes where everything is about brass, copper, and steel. Our place is tucked in there, filled with metal pieces and parts that have a very specific smell. It is loud around here, with the sound of carts being pushed over the stones and people shouting to be heard over the traffic. Inside 3749/10, things are a bit quieter, though the shelves are heavy with stock. Space is limited, so we don't have much room for anything other than the metals we deal in. A very practical environment is what we have, where everything has its place, even if it looks like a mess to someone from the outside. Being near Om Market means there is always someone looking for something specific, and we spend our time helping them find it in the piles. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Mostly, we are just a metal shop in a very old part of the city. Everyone on Charan Das Street deals with the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. Hard work is just part of it, but it is what we know.
