If you’ve ever been to Central Delhi around the 110006 area, you know how narrow the lanes are. It’s a maze of shops and people carrying heavy loads on their backs. We’ve been operating from this little ground floor spot for some time now. Dealing with spices in this part of the city feels right because this area has a long history with trade. Our space is usually filled with sacks of different spices waiting to be sorted. It’s loud outside, with rickshaws and vendors shouting, but inside we just focus on getting the orders ready. Sometimes the delivery carts get stuck in the Gali, and we have to help them move. It’s not the easiest place to run a business, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a website that looks like a million bucks or a fancy lobby. We just have a scale, some bags, and a lot of spices. Our days are long, mostly spent talking to people from the nearby markets and checking on the stock. It’s a lot of hard work in a crowded space, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just try to keep the quality consistent.
