Sagar Steel Industries is based at A-14 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. If you have ever been to Wazirpur, you know it is all about metal and manufacturing. Our unit is one of many in the row, and you can hear the sound of hammers and presses from the moment you turn onto the street. We work mostly with steel, making different types of items or parts depending on what is needed. The floor is always covered in a bit of metal dust and the air smells like scorched iron. It is a tough environment but we have gotten used to the heat and the noise over the years. We have got a small team of workers who know the machines inside out. There is no air conditioning here, just some big fans that move the warm air around. We do not have a showroom for people to walk through. It is a factory through and through. Most of our work is for other businesses who need steel products in bulk. We spend our days checking the measurements and making sure the machines are running right. Wazirpur is a busy place and there is always a truck blocking the lane or someone unloading coils of wire. We have been at A-14 for a long time and the building has the marks of all that work on its walls. It is a basic, hardworking shop where we just focus on the steel and getting the orders out the door.
