Bhagirath Palace is a very crowded market. We are located at 1933/31 in C Mohan Bazar. It’s a lot of small shops all packed together. We sell surgical supplies. Our shop is full of boxes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. We spend our day answering the phone and writing down orders. It’s a lot of small items like bandages and tools. People come in looking for very specific things. We have to know where everything is kept in the stacks. It’s not a pretty shop. It’s just functional. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. The air is always a bit stuffy because there isn't much ventilation in the bazar. We’ve been here in Mohan Bazar for a long time. You get to know the other shopkeepers around you. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts moving goods around. We just try to get the orders right and get them out the door. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just provide what people need for their clinics or hospitals. It’s a simple business in a very busy part of Delhi. We just stay here and do our bit every day.
