S K Metal is located right in the middle of Wazirpur Industrial Area at A-78/4. If you know the area, you know it's always dusty and loud with all the machines running. We’ve got a small space here where we handle different kinds of metal work. It’s not the cleanest place because we’re working with raw materials all day long. The floor is usually covered in scrap and the sound of cutting metal is pretty constant. We started this because we knew a bit about the trade and figured we could make a go of it here. There’s a lot of competition on this road, but we just focus on what’s on our own workbench. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or they just walk in because they saw the gate open. The staff here is just a few local guys who know their way around the tools. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit on plastic chairs and go over the drawings with customers. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, which slows everything down, but we just wait it out. That's the way things go around here at S K Metal.
