Royal Metal Exports

Being located at 999, Chawri Bazar, puts us right in the middle of one of the busiest parts of Old Delhi. We are near Jama Masjid, so the area is always full of people, rickshaws, and the smell of street food. Our business is Royal Metal Exports, and we’ve been dealing with various types of metal goods here for a long time. The shop is old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of history. We spend our days coordinating with various workshops and then getting the finished metal pieces ready to be sent out. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and checking the weight of the brass or copper items we handle. The noise outside is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few years of working in Chawri Bazar. We don't have a modern office with air conditioning that works all the time. It’s more of a traditional setup where we sit on the floor or at old wooden desks. We talk to a lot of different people every day, from local craftsmen to transporters who know the narrow lanes better than anyone. It’s a bit chaotic, especially when big shipments arrive and we have to navigate the crowds to get everything inside safely. We just focus on the metal and making sure the pieces are what they’re supposed to be before they leave our hands for the international market. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know best after all these years.
