Rekha Food

Rekha Food is located at Plot No- 834 in Garhi Bakhtawarpur. We are tucked away near the Msd School, so we get to hear the morning assembly and the kids shouting during their break times. Our setup is quite basic, just a functional building on a piece of land where we do all our food preparation. There isn't any fancy landscaping or a grand lobby to walk into. You just come in and see us working with the raw materials and the packaging. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't really use corporate language or have big meetings to talk about the future. We just look at what needs to be cooked and packed for the day and we get to it. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the plot number because the roads around here aren't marked very well, but we usually just wave them down from the gate. The work is repetitive but it’s what we know how to do. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and the equipment because food work requires that. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s honest and it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on our daily tasks and try to make sure everything is handled correctly before we lock up for the night. It’s just a regular local business doing what it does best.
