We’ve been here at Shalimar Bagh on the Ring Road for a good while now. AG 32 is just where we set up to get things moving every morning. It’s mostly about getting the packets sorted and making sure everything looks right on the shelves before people start coming in. Most days it’s just the usual crowd stopping by after work or when they’re heading home. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It gets a bit loud with the traffic outside from the Ring Road, but you get used to it after a few years. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to shuffle things around, which is a bit of a headache. We try to keep things simple and just stock what people in the area actually need for their kitchens. It isn't a huge place, just a regular shop where we know most of our customers by face. You see the same people every Tuesday or Friday. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet and just watch the cars go by. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the inventory and making sure nothing goes past its date. We just open up early and close late, day in and day out. We also have to deal with the heat in the summer which makes the shop feel a bit cramped. It's a living and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. That’s pretty much how it goes at Rameshwars Foods.
