R. R. Steels

R. R. Steels is over in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Our unit is A-109, right in the thick of it. If you’ve ever been to Wazirpur, you know it’s loud, busy, and there’s metal everywhere. We are surrounded by other factories and workshops. The sound of machines running is just something we are used to by now. Our space is mostly taken up by stacks of steel and the tools we use. The floor is concrete and always has some grease on it. We aren't trying to win any beauty contests with the shop. It’s a place for hard work. We spend our days cutting, moving, and organizing steel products. It’s heavy work, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the records. It gets pretty dusty in there, no matter how much we clean. Group Industrial Area is a tough place but it’s where the business is. We’ve been at A-109 for a long time and know the other owners on the block. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of manual labor and experience. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes outside, which can be a real headache. But we just get on with it. R. R. Steels is just a straightforward industrial unit doing what we do every day without complaining. We’ve seen the area change a lot but we stay right here.
