Punjabi Steel

Punjabi Steel is located in the heart of Chandni Chowk. Anyone who has been to this part of Old Delhi knows how chaotic it can get. The lanes are tight and there are rickshaws everywhere you look. We have our space set up here among the hundreds of other shops that have been around for generations. It is a loud place, with the sounds of bells and people shouting orders all day long. We don't have a specific house number that's easy to spot, so you usually have to navigate the landmarks to find us. Punjabi Steel has been a part of this mess for quite a while. We deal with heavy materials in a place that wasn't really built for them, but we make it work. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around by hand. The air is always thick with the smell of the market and street food from nearby stalls. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of the time we are standing up or sitting on small stools. It’s honest work. We see all kinds of people walking past our door every single hour. Some are tourists and some are locals doing their daily shopping. We just keep to our business and try to get the orders ready on time. Life in Chandni Chowk is fast, but we have our own rhythm at the shop.
