We are located at 602/603 on the Khari Baoli Main Road. If you know Delhi, you know Khari Baoli is the heart of the spice trade. It’s always crowded with laborers carrying huge sacks on their backs and rickshaws blocking the narrow lanes. Our office and storage are right in the middle of all that chaos. At Prachi Exports Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of bulk orders. The phone rings all day with people asking about prices and shipping dates. It’s not a quiet office. There are papers everywhere and samples of different goods sitting on the desks. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in before we send it out. Sometimes the humidity makes things difficult, but we manage. We’ve got a small team and everyone knows their job. Some handle the packing, others do the ledger work. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a working space where things get moved in and out quickly. The stairs up to the office are steep and narrow, but we’re used to them. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and the building shows its age, but it’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the export containers are loaded correctly and on time. It is a tough environment but we like the pace.
