Pawansut Steel Industries

If you know Ajmeri Gate, you know how crowded it gets near Chawri Bazaar. Our place, Pawansut Steel Industries, is on the second floor of Plot No. 748 in Kundewalan. It’s a bit of a climb, and moving steel up and down those stairs is never easy, but that’s just how these old buildings are. The lanes are narrow and full of people, carts, and the smell of street food. Up here on the second floor, it’s a bit away from the street chaos, but you can still hear the honking and shouting all day long. We’ve been operating in this area for a while, surrounded by other metal shops and hardware stores. The space is small and every inch is used for storage or working. It’s often quite hot, and the light isn’t always the best, but we manage. We don't use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned ledgers and a lot of memory. Most of our days are spent talking to traders or checking the weight of the metal. It’s an old-school way of doing business where everyone knows everyone else in the market. We don’t bother with big advertisements. People find us because they’ve been coming to this area for decades to get their steel. It’s just us, the metal, and the daily grind of the bazaar life. It’s tired work, but it’s what we’ve always done here in the heart of the city.
