Patwa General Store

This is our little general store tucked away in Gali School Wali. Sadar Bazar is always a bit chaotic, but our lane is a bit more focused on the local families and the kids going to the school nearby. The shop is at 4989/90/2. It’s not the easiest address to write out but everyone around here knows where it is. We sell all sorts of small things you might need during the day. Pens, notebooks for the students, and regular household stuff like soap or snacks. I spend a lot of time arranging things on the shelves so I can find them quickly when someone asks. It is a small space so every inch matters. The morning rush is the busiest when parents are dropping their kids off. I’ve seen many kids grow up and now they come in with their own children. It makes me feel a bit old but it’s nice. Sadar Bazar has its own energy. You hear the noise from the main roads but here in the gali it is a bit different. We try to keep things simple. If we don’t have something, I usually try to get it for the next time someone asks. It’s just a plain general store run by people who live right here. No big signs or lights, just a door that’s open most of the day. I keep a stool by the door to sit on when things get quiet for a minute.
