Pandit Ji Iron Store

We are over at Plot No.A1 in Samaypur Badli. You can’t really miss us because we are right near Bajrang Chowk. We’ve been running this iron store for quite a few years now. The place is mostly a big yard filled with iron rods, sheets, and heavy angles. It’s dusty and can get pretty loud when the trucks are unloading, but that is just how a metal business is. My family stays here most of the day, sitting on some old plastic chairs near the front. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a basic desk where we keep our registers and a calculator. People from around the neighborhood come by when they are building a new floor or fixing a gate. We know the tea seller near Bajrang Chowk very well because we order from him three times a day. The ground is covered in red dust and bits of scrap metal. We don’t spend money on big signs or advertisements. Word of mouth works just fine for us in Samaypur Badli. Sometimes the traffic at the chowk gets really bad and our deliveries get stuck, which is frustrating. But we just deal with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable place where you can get your iron without any fuss. It’s hard work and our hands are always dirty by the end of the shift.
