Pakhi Creations

Pakhi Creations is on the upper ground floor of BJ - 96 (East) in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads around here. You have to walk up a few steps to get to us. Once you’re inside, you’ll see we have filled the space with all sorts of things we’ve been working on. It’s not a huge operation. It’s just a handful of us who like making clothes and seeing how they turn out. The light in the afternoons is quite nice because of the big window we have. We spend a lot of time sitting at the large table in the center, cutting fabric or looking over some designs we’re thinking about. There’s always a pile of scrap material in the corner that we say we’ll sort through one day, but we never quite get around to it. Shalimar Bagh is a nice place to be, and we’ve made some good friends in the nearby buildings. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. People just find out about us and drop by to see what we have on the racks. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and we don't put any pressure on anyone. We just enjoy the process of creating something from scratch. Being at BJ - 96 (East) for these years has been good for us. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time, without any big fuss.
