Padmawati Foods

Our place is located in Adarsh Nagar, specifically at A 236 in Majlish Park. It is a mostly residential area, which makes for a different vibe than the big industrial zones. We handle food items here in a fairly small setup. It is a family thing, mostly. We got into this because we wanted a local business to run. The street outside can get pretty tight when we have trucks coming to pick up goods, and sometimes the neighbors get a bit annoyed with the noise, but we try to be fast. Inside, the space is mostly taken up by the kitchen and where we store the ingredients. We do not have fancy uniforms or a human resources department. It is just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the rhythm of Majlish Park pretty well by now. The day starts early, usually before the rest of the street is awake. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and jars to make sure everything looks okay. It is very hands-on work. We do not spend much time on computers or doing a lot of paperwork. Most of our day is spent actually working with the food products. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to stack things up in the corners. It keeps us on our toes. If you walk by, you can usually smell whatever we are preparing that day. It is just a simple, local food business and we like it that way.
