Nutri Cereals Food Processing Privatelimited is up on the second floor of Indra Market. Our flat is R 19. Being near the Old Subzi Mandi means there is always noise and people moving around outside. It’s a busy part of town for sure. We work with different types of grains and cereals. The machines we use for processing take up a good amount of space. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the flour and grains, but that's just the nature of the business. We keep a regular schedule, starting early in the morning when the market wakes up. We aren't a huge factory, just a small processing unit. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the start. We focus on getting the processing done right. Sometimes the stairs are a pain when we have heavy sacks to move, but we get it done. The building is old but it serves its purpose. We don't have fancy signs or marketing teams. It’s just us in the market, doing the work we know how to do. Every day is about checking the quality and making sure the bags are sealed properly. It’s steady work in a crowded area. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused while the machines are humming away. It's a loud place to work but you get used to the sound of the market after a while.
