Northern Steel Traders Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the middle of Bazar Sirkiwalan. Our address is 2880, and if you have ever been to Hauz Qazi, you know how packed these streets can get. It is a loud place with lots of carts and people moving about all day long. We have been operating out of this building for a long time. The walls are thick and it stays a bit cooler inside during the summer heat, which is a relief. We deal with steel traders and builders mostly. Usually, the morning starts with tea and looking over what needs to go out. The bazaar has a life of its own. You hear the sounds of metal clanking and horns honking from the street outside. It isn't a quiet office job. We are usually on our feet, checking the stacks or talking to the drivers. The space is filled with pipes and sheets, so you have to watch your step when you walk through. We don’t do much in the way of decorating. It is a practical space for a practical business. Sometimes the deliveries take longer because the narrow lanes get blocked, but that’s just life in Hauz Qazi. We have seen the market change over the years, but our spot at 2880 stays pretty much the same. We just focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace of this market. We keep going until the last cart is gone and the street finally starts to quiet down for the night.
