Nirankari Food Processors is based in the heart of Chandni Chowk. We are located at 1049/50, on the ground floor of Kucha Natwan. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s one of the busiest places on earth. The lanes are narrow and there are people everywhere. Working here means we have to be very good at managing our time and our space. We do food processing, which involves a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the machinery. It’s noisy and it can get very crowded in our small ground-floor space. We don’t have the fancy facilities you might find in a modern industrial park. Everything we do is a bit more old-school. We have to carry everything in and out by hand because trucks can’t get into the narrow gali. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of Old Delhi. Our team is just a few guys who have been doing this for a long time. We don’t have a big mission statement or any promotional goals. We just want to get the work done and make sure the food is processed correctly. It’s a tough environment, but there’s a sense of community in Kucha Natwan that you don’t find elsewhere. We just keep our heads down and stay busy every day.
