Everyone knows Kinari Bazar. Our store, Ms Anand Prakash Surender Kumar Store, is right at No. 2931. It’s a narrow area, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We have been in this spot for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly just us and the regulars who stop by. We don't really bother with advertisements or anything like that. People find us because they know where we are. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Kinari Bazar is always full of life, especially in the afternoons. It can be a struggle to get through the crowds sometimes, but that’s the charm of it. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the stock or just talking to the neighbors. No. 2931 has seen a lot of changes over the years, but the store stays mostly the same. We don’t see a reason to change what works. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the market. We just want to be here for the people who need us. Sometimes we drink tea while waiting for the next person to walk in. It’s quiet in the mornings, then it picks up. We like the rhythm of the bazar. It’s home.
