M.M. Metal is right in the middle of the chaos at Hauz Qazi. You can find us at 3199/G-1, Gali Raja Wali, inside the Shree Balaji Market. Being near Peepal Mahadev and the Jama Masjid means it’s always crowded and loud. Chandni Chowk isn't for everyone, but we’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't bother us anymore. We deal in all sorts of metal items. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling with stock. There’s barely enough room to move sometimes. It’s a traditional way of doing business here. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk through the narrow lanes to find us. We talk to our neighbors, drink some tea, and handle the metal trade. Dealing with the logistics in these narrow galis is a nightmare, but we’ve got it figured out over the years. We aren't a big corporate office with air conditioning. It’s just a dusty shop where we know exactly where every piece of metal is hidden in the stacks. It’s a bit messy, and the billing is mostly done by hand on paper pads. That’s just how things work in this part of Delhi. We stay busy because people know we have what they need in the middle of all this. It's a tough place to work, but it’s our home and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
