Our address is G. T. Karnal Road, and we have been using Post Box 136 for our mail for quite a long time. Being situated on such a major highway means there is never a dull moment with all the trucks and buses zooming past our gate all day and night. The location is very convenient for getting shipments in and out, but the noise and the exhaust fumes are something you just have to live with. Our warehouse is a sturdy building that has seen a lot of metal tubes come and go over the years. Inside, it is usually a bit dim, and the air smells like cold steel and a bit of rust. We don't bother with fancy lighting or modern decor because our main priority is just having enough space to store the long lengths of tubing. The office is a small room near the entrance where we keep the ledgers and the telephone. Most of the people who work here live in the nearby areas and have been commuting to this spot on the GT Karnal Road for years. We have a simple way of doing things, mostly involving a lot of manual checking and marking the metal with chalk. It is a straightforward business, and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it really is. When the highway traffic gets backed up, we just sit back and have some tea until the road clears enough for our trucks to leave.
