Our spot is at Plot No- A11 in Yadav Nagar. If you’re taking the bus, we’re right near the 199 bus stop, which is quite convenient for a lot of people. Samaypur Badli is a busy, working-class area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops and small units around here. The main thing you’ll notice at our place is the stacks of fruit crates and the sound of the blenders going. It’s a small plot, so things can get a bit messy, especially during the peak hours when everyone wants a drink at the same time. There’s always fruit peels and ice around, and we’re constantly trying to keep the flies away and the counters clean. It’s a lot of manual labor, peeling and cutting and juicing all day long. The 199 bus comes by every few minutes and the noise of the engine is just part of our daily life. We don’t have any fancy seating or air conditioning. It’s just a counter and some standing space. Most of our customers are people on their way to work or guys from the nearby workshops. We’ve been at this location for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less. We just work hard and try to get through the crates of fruit before the day ends.
