Malhotra Provision Store

We've been at Lohia Nagar Rama Krishna Market 2/B-198 for quite some time now. Most people around the area know where we are because of the big stack of rice bags usually sitting right near the door. It’s a small place, honestly, and it feels even smaller when we get a fresh delivery of crates. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone wants their milk and bread at the same time. I usually handle the counter myself, and my nephew helps with the heavy lifting or when we need to find something specific in the back. We stock the usual stuff like lentils, spices, soaps, and whatever else people need for their kitchens. The shelves are a bit cluttered, I know. It's not one of those fancy supermarkets where everything is labeled perfectly. You might have to ask where the salt is, but we usually have it somewhere. We get our stock every Tuesday and Friday, so the place is even more cramped on those days with boxes sitting in the aisles. It's just a regular neighborhood store. People stop by to chat while they wait for their change or for me to weigh out their flour. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the heat away during the afternoons.
