Maa Durga Steel

Our yard is located at Plot No. 635 B in the Garhi area of Alipur. If you’re looking for the Khasra number, it’s 894. It’s a bit of an open space because of the nature of what we do. Steel takes up a lot of room and it isn't exactly light. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed area. Alipur is a busy part of town with a lot of heavy vehicles moving around. The ground here is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets a bit muddy when it rains. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office. We just have a small cabin where we keep the records and take a break from the sun. The work is physical and we are usually tired by the end of the shift. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of trade or storage business. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a stroll, but it’s where we move the materials. We’ve been at this spot for some time and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We don't bother with much advertising or big signs. People who need us usually find us through word of mouth or by just driving down the road. We keep the gates open during the day and there is always someone around to help unload or load up. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We just do our bit and keep moving forward.
